PVRA Summer Fun - Kids' Tennis & Activities Clinic
We are pleased to offer PVRA's "Summer Fun" program again this year! Our association offers a recreational summer program for members’ children who rising 1st graders to rising 5th graders. There are five, one-week sessions that run for the duration of our swim team season, from June 27 through July 29. The “Summer Fun” program is staffed by a team of energetic lifeguards, and led by our Pool Manager, Sarah Devine.
Weekly sessions run Monday/Wednesday/Friday, on a schedule that allows the children to still participate in the PVRA Swim Team. Each participant is limited to 1 week of enrollment. If there are still spaces available after the 1st round of enrollment, then we will run the 2nd enrollment for the remaining spaces. Sessions are limited to 25 participants.
The objective of the “Summer Fun” program is to provide a fun place for kids to have organized activities while giving parents a few hours of free time each week. Activities include tennis lessons, field games, basketball, arts & crafts, volleyball, kickball, and other age-appropriate games and activities. Our Summer Fun program is NOT babysitting. Our staff members lead organized group activities. If your child is unwilling to participate in the group activities, the child’s caregiver will be contacted to pick up the child.
Suggestions and feedback regarding the program activities are always welcome. If a member has a special talent or skill they would like to share as part of “Summer Fun,” please contact Sarah Devine.
