Dates & Hours of Operation

The PVRA opens for the season on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend.  The final day of the season is the 2nd Sunday after Labor Day.  Dates and hours of operation are subject to change.

The PVRA days and hours of operation vary depending on the time of the season:

• Early Season - Friday of Memorial weekend (May 24th) to last day of school (Monday, June 19th):
  • Monday - Thursday:  4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
  • Friday:  Noon to 9:00 pm
  • Saturday:  10:00 am - 9:00 pm
  • Sunday:  10:00 am - 7:00 pm
  • Friday, May 26th:  4:00 pm - 9:00 pm (Opening Day)
  • Sunday, May 28th:  10:00 am - 9:00 pm 
  • Monday, May 29th:  10:00 am - 7:00 pm (Memorial Day)
  • Monday, June 19th: 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm (last day of school)
• Regular Season - First day of RPS summer break (Tuesday, June 20th), to last day of RPS summer break of school (Sunday, August 27):
  • Sunday - Thursday:  10:00 am - 8:00 pm*
  • Friday - Saturday:  10:00 am - 9:00 pm*
  • Monday, July 3rd: 10:00 am - 9:00 pm
  • Tuesday, July 4th: 10:00 am - 9:00 pm
  • Sunday, August 27th:  10:00 am - 7:00 pm
  • Lap Swim: Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 6:30 - 8:00 AM (starting June 26th)

*During the Swim Team season (June 20 - July 28th) on weekdays the pool IS NOT open until 12:00 pm.

• Late Season - First day of school (Monday, August 28th) to 2nd Sunday following Labor Day (September 17th):
  • Monday - Thursday:  Closed
  • Friday:  4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
  • Saturday:  12:00 pm - 8:00 pm
  • Sunday:  12:00 pm - 7:00 pm
  • Sunday, September 3rd:  12:00 pm - 8:00 pm
  • Monday, September 4th:  12:00 pm - 7:00 pm (Labor Day)

The late-season schedule is heavily dependent on lifeguard availability and weather.
