Dates & Hours of Operation
The PVRA opens for the season on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend. The final day of the season is the 2nd Sunday after Labor Day. Dates and hours of operation are subject to change.
The PVRA days and hours of operation vary depending on the time of the season:
Early Season - Friday of Memorial Weekend to Last Day of School (May 22nd - June 24th):
- Monday - Thursday: 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
- Friday: Noon to 9:00 pm
- Saturday: 10:00 am - 9:00 pm
- Sunday: 10:00 am - 7:00 pm
Exceptions:
- Friday, May 22nd: 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm (Opening Day)
- Sunday, May 25th: 10:00 am - 9:00 pm
- Monday, May 26th: 10:00 am - 7:00 pm (Memorial Day)
- Wednesday, June 24th: 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm (last day of school)
Regular Season - First day of RPS Summer Break to Last Day of RPS Summer Break (June 25th - Aug 26th):
- Sunday - Thursday: 10:00 am - 8:00 pm*
- Friday - Saturday: 10:00 am - 9:00 pm*
- Lap Swim: Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 6:30 - 8:00 AM
*During the Swim Team season on weekdays the pool IS NOT open until 12:00 pm.
Exceptions:
- Thursday, July 2nd: 10:00 am - 9:00 pm
- Monday, August 26th: 10:00 am - 7:00 pm
Late Season - First Day of School to 2nd Sunday Following Labor Day (Aug 27th - Sept 20th):
- Monday - Thursday: Closed
- Friday: 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
- Saturday: 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm
- Sunday: 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Exceptions:
- Sunday, September 6th: 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm
- Monday, September 7th: 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm (Labor Day)
The late-season schedule is heavily dependent on lifeguard availability and weather.
