Dates & Hours of Operation - Summer 2024
The PVRA opens for the season on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend. The final day of the season is the 2nd Sunday after Labor Day. Dates and hours of operation are subject to change.
The PVRA days and hours of operation vary depending on the time of the season:
- Early Season - Friday of Memorial weekend (May 24th) to last day of school (Friday, June 14th):
- Monday - Thursday: 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
- Friday: Noon to 9:00 pm
- Saturday: 10:00 am - 9:00 pm
- Sunday: 10:00 am - 7:00 pm
- Friday, May 24th: 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm (Opening Day)
- Sunday, May 26th: 10:00 am - 9:00 pm
- Monday, May 27th: 10:00 am - 7:00 pm (Memorial Day)
- Friday, June 14th: 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm (last day of school)
- Regular Season - First day of RPS summer break (Saturday, June 15th), to last day of RPS summer break of school (Monday, August 26):
- Sunday - Thursday: 10:00 am - 8:00 pm*
- Friday - Saturday: 10:00 am - 9:00 pm*
- Wednesday, July 3rd: 10:00 am - 9:00 pm
- Thursday, July 4th: 10:00 am - 9:00 pm
- Monday, August 26th: 10:00 am - 7:00 pm
- Lap Swim: Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 6:30 - 8:00 AM (starting June 24th)
*During the Swim Team season (June 17 - July 30th) on weekdays the pool IS NOT open until 12:00 pm.
- Late Season - First day of school (Tuesday, August 28th) to 2nd Sunday following Labor Day (September 15th):
- Monday - Thursday: Closed
- Friday: 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
- Saturday: 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm
- Sunday: 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm
- Sunday, September 1st: 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm
- Monday, September 2nd: 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm (Labor Day)
The late-season schedule is heavily dependent on lifeguard availability and weather.
