Dates & Hours of Operation
The PVRA opens for the season on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend. The final day of the season is the 2nd Sunday after Labor Day. Dates and hours of operation are subject to change.
The PVRA days and hours of operation vary depending on the time of the season:
- Early Season - Friday of Memorial weekend to last day of school - May 23rd - June 16th (tentative):
- Monday - Thursday: 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
- Friday: Noon to 9:00 pm
- Saturday: 10:00 am - 9:00 pm
- Sunday: 10:00 am - 7:00 pm
- Friday, May 23rd: 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm (Opening Day)
- Sunday, May 25th: 10:00 am - 9:00 pm
- Monday, May 26th: 10:00 am - 7:00 pm (Memorial Day)
- Monday, June 16th: 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm (last day of school)
- Regular Season - First day of RPS summer break to last day of RPS summer break of school -June 17th - Aug 25th:
- Sunday - Thursday: 10:00 am - 8:00 pm*
- Friday - Saturday: 10:00 am - 9:00 pm*
- Thursday, July 3rd: 10:00 am - 9:00 pm
- Monday, August 26th: 10:00 am - 7:00 pm
- Lap Swim: Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 6:30 - 8:00 AM
*During the Swim Team season on weekdays the pool IS NOT open until 12:00 pm.
- Late Season - First day of school to 2nd Sunday following Labor Day - Aug 26th - Sept 14th:
- Monday - Thursday: Closed
- Friday: 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
- Saturday: 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm
- Sunday: 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm
- Sunday, August 31st: 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm
- Monday, September 1st: 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm (Labor Day)
The late-season schedule is heavily dependent on lifeguard availability and weather.
